Motopark was founded in 1972. The park is located 2 hours Northwest of Toronto just off highway 6 South of the village of Williamsford, Ontario, Canada. The 100 acre facility includes a three story tower with washrooms and showers on the ground level, A full service snack bar restaurant on the deck level and an upstairs apartment.
There is a 1,500 square foot recreation room used for registration and awards presentation at the races, as a recreation room for the schools and as a gathering room for snowmobilers and motorcycle and ATV riders. There's lots of parking and camping areas and a number of campsites have power and water hook ups.
The main motocross track itself is fenced off and is approx. 1.5 km. long, it has a number of jumps and hills and goes through changes every year. Other practice tracks are available. Events held at Motopark over the years include Motorcycle Motocross, Trials, Enduros, Hare Scrambles, Practices and Schools, Snowmobile Snowcross, ATV Events, Mountain Bike events, 4 x 4 Truck and Off-road Car events.
There is approx. 6 km of trail on the back part of the property that winds through a pine and hardwood bush. The park is used as a park and ride for snowmobilers connecting to hundreds of kms. of trails for those with trail permits. Facilities are also available for snowmobile and trailer storage. The wood stove in the parks recreation center is a popular gathering spot after a long ride. Some of these trails have been developed by Motopark for use by motorcycle and ATV trail riders in the summer months.
The park has a House for the owners and is also home to a number of Arabian show horses which are trained and bred on the property.
