Motopark offers its guests hotel rooms, serviced campsites, tent sites, bunkhouse accommodations, as well as washrooms and showers. Motopark provides an all around superior riding experience.
The Off-Road Café at Motopark is open for guests. The Café can also accommodate larger groups and is available as a corporate meeting venue.
The latest additions are Fort Moto Paintball park and a BMX pump track. Both are favourites of our summer camp and race attendees.
Moto Park Training Facility offers three different tracks. Our main track is used for practice and races and is groomed and watered on a regular basis. Our sensational new Junior track is built for Mini and Beginner riders and provides an excellent building block for riders to practice and learn new skills. In addition, we have our training track, which is used for riders new to the sport as well as for training riders attending our summer camps or taking part in day training.
Our trail system is used by both organizations that run Cross Country Championship events in Canada. The trails are arrowed and there is a section just behind the main motocross track that is ideal for beginners and families to use. The entire system is just over 8 km and it takes the average rider approx. 20 minutes to complete a lap. Remember that if you see a “W” you are going the wrong way on the trails. Turn around and you’re likely to see a green or red arrow pointing in the direction you should be going.
OFF-ROAD RENTALS/DAY TRAINING
Only non-licensed off-road vehicles are rented for use on Motopark's tracks and/or trail system. Riding gear is also available. Engine or drive train problems, including flat tires, are the responsibility of Motopark. Renters are responsible for paying for damage such as bent or broken bars, levers, perches, cracked or broken plastic, ripped seat covers, etc. Rentals are available by reservation. Pricing includes fuels and oils.
Sessions are from 9:30 – 12:30 and 1:30 – 4:30 daily. Reservations are required.
Riding lessons are available and must be booked in advance. Hourly rates for lessons are $53.10 + tax ($60).
Motopark holds five to seven Sanctioned Motocross events each year. Classes range from the 50 cc, 4 to 6-year-olds to the ladies class and top pro riders from across North America. All tracks are closed on race days with limited hours on pre-race days. Check our schedule at www.motoparkracing.com for dates.
In past years, Motopark has hosted Canadian National Amateur and Pro Championships and also has had World Championship Grand Prix events.
Fort Moto is a recent addition to the recreational activities provided at Motopark. Our Thunder Valley paintball field is a hit among our summer camp students who are offered the opportunity to participate in one of our many Paintball games on Tuesday and Thursday night. Games like “Capture the flag” are among the favourites.
You can also book games for birthday parties and family or group get-togethers. Fort Moto has a great supply of guns, masks and other equipment for rent and all games and tournaments are supervised and led by Motopark staff.
Motopark has a low element challenge course. The challenge course at Motopark is a valuable tool for teaching teamwork and cooperation. Some elements also teach balance and concentration which are critical to the performance of top Motocross riders. Motopark’s challenge course helps foster trust, respect, care and concern for each member of the team.
OUTDOOR BMX PUMP TRACK
Motopark’s BMX and Mountain Bike Pump Track is a favourite evening activity during our five day summer camps. It’s also a hit on race and camping weekends where young, and not so young, riders spend hours. A BMX pump track is a progressive course that uses an up and down “pumping” motion to propel the bicycle forward instead of peddling. Pump tracks help riding balance, learning skills and improving confidence on a bike.
Few off-road facilities in the world offer the amenities available at Motopark. The building that houses the Café, also features large screen televisions complete with satellite programming to enhance guests’ experience. Free wireless Internet is also available by request.
Light snacks and beverages, including a variety of energy drinks are always available, and you’ll definitely want to ask about the daily specials being created by our friendly staff.
Whether it’s breakfast, enjoying one of our famous Moto Muffins, a feature pasta dish, a full course weekend barbecue, or the always delicious burger and fries, the Motopark staff will ensure you are well fed!
Located at the west end of the main barn, Motopark’s Pro Shop is staffed by our off road and motocross mechanic and staff. A feature at our summer camps is a free 25 point mechanical inspection, a $75 value. Our registration area, carries a supply of product for riders’ everydayneeds - spark plugs, oils, tubes, levers, tires etc. As well, our line of Motopark Ts, hats and hoodies.
Motopark Hotel offers superb units with a host of comforts; a family suite, bunk house accommodations, and the Off-Road Café. Wake up, eat breakfast and ride!
Hotel units can sleep up to five people, the family suite up to eight and the bunk houses can comfortably sleep six to eight people.
Motopark has a combination of full service and primitive campsites. We no longer reserve service sites because they’re rented on an annual basis. Primitive camping is available for $20 per vehicle per night, $10 each additional night. More camping information.
Motopark has a large washroom/shower area for the general public and camping guests. Every effort is made to keep them clean and comfortable for our guests. Please report any requirements to the snack bar staff if the volume of use exceeds our normal maintenance of these areas.
